ABOUT OUR CENTER
CCELC continues to provide infant care all the way through school age care; offering before and after school care, along with summer programs! We do have a wait list for all of our classrooms at this time, so we recommend getting an application filled out to be placed on our waiting list. We will notify parents on upcoming availability for your family as we are made aware.
We believe that learning is integrated into the daily routine, and playing is not separated from learning. Children will choose from selected materials and activities within an environment that encourages discovery and problem solving, through the joy of play. Teachers will be available to provide scaffolding through promptings and questions to extend the child’s learning. Though it may look like free play to an
onlooker, it is actually guided learning as children explore manipulatives and the world around them. Because each child develops mentally, physically, spiritually, and emotionally, age-appropriate learning experiences are provided to allow each child to progress at his/her pace and to experience success through hands-on activities and learning centers.
